Chicago Air-and-Water Show

Bruce Parduhn, that man of many hydrocarbon-consuming toys, extended a general invite this last August to the FVFC Clan to join him and his wife Rose on his sumptuous cabin cruiser for day on Lake Michigan watching the Chicago Air and Water Show.  A good number of us took him up on that offer.  Vance Lorenzana drove his aptly named Party Van(ce)™ in from the Far West, disgorging himself and his son, Tim; Barry and Christine Ward; Don Leonard and his inamorata Christine; and Rich Wild and Bob Beckstrom.  Greg and Crystal came separately, as did Rickey.  I took the opportunity to drive down on my motorcycle along Lake Shore Drive on that fine day.

And what a fine day it was!  Most of us have seen the Air Show year-in and year-out, and we were all hard pressed to recall a better day for the Show.
