Thoughts from the Editor

Happy New Year!  I hope you all are well, and that maybe some of you brasher folks with antifreeze in your veins, or folks with nice, snug, enclosed, heated cockpits, are doing a little flying.  For myself, at this time of year, I just read about it.

The Christmas Party has come and gone, and I trust it went off well.  The timing was particularly bad for me this year and I couldn't attend.  I only heard a little bit about it (got no pictures; got no write-up, surprise surprise) so I can only assume that a good time was had by all.

I've been sitting on several articles sent in by Evan Wright in the hopes that his electronic scribblings would be joined by a flurry similar stories submitted by his fellow fliers.  No joy.  So, rather than suffer the continuing "jeeze, I sent you those articles months ago" jabs from Brother Evan, I present herewith yet another "All Wright, All The Time" Newsletter.  Enjoy these stories and pictures of past warm-weather flying as you huddle next to the fire during these single-digit-temperature nights.  And, thanks to Bob Debs for some pictures of the Rochelle fly-in!

As always, if you do some flying, or learn about something worth offering up for the "common good" of our Club, consider sending me an email about it (to gilomen@ais.net), preferably with some pictures.  I'll gladly take any and all original stories (cribbing and reprints are discouraged) about flying that you have done, flying that you wanted to do and flying that made you wish you had stayed on the ground, as well as any amusing anecdotes, grumpy gripes, scary stories and wanted/for sale/for trade ads.  Let's get to it, people!
